WSAA is pleased to announce one new document, and amendments to WSA 201, related to the renovation of wastewater structures and large diameter pipes are now available for comment.
The documents include:
- Amendments to WSA 201 Manual for selection and application of protective coatings.
- WSA 160 Water Industry Standard for Calcium Aluminate Cement Mortars used for the renovation of wastewater structures and large diameter pipes.
The documents are the result of a Cooperative Research Centre and Water Industry funded collaborative project involving water utilities, universities, product suppliers and applicators.

A copy of the pre-publication draft of each document is attached, along with an associated comments form.
How do I make a submission?
Comments are welcome by manufacturers, supplies, designers, installers and asset owners, using the comments form and emailing linings@wsaa.asn.au by 3:00PM AEDT, Thursday 18 November 2021.
What will happen next?
Once the public consultation period has concluded, the WSAA Project Team will consider the submissions received and amend the Standard as deemed appropriate.
It is envisaged that the documents will be finalised and ready for publication by 20 December 2021. The documents will be published as eBooks only, and will be available for purchase via the WSAA shop.
