We have an exciting opportunity to join the WSAA team as the Research and Innovation Coordinator. This is an important support role within the organisation involving the management of the research collaboration process between WSAA members, and our international and domestic research partners.
Since the release of proposed amendments to the Telco (Low Impact Facilities) Act in June last year WSAA and the NSW and QLD Water Directorates have been working with the Department of Communications and Arts (DOCA) to address legacy issues and proposed future issues with the installation of Telecommuncations equipment on water tanks.
The Bureau of Meteorology (BOM) is undertaking a review of urban water national performance reporting arrangements. WSAA has a key role to play here to work collaboratively with the BOM and its consultants to ensure that the views of the industry are effectively captured and reflected in the review.
