WSAA has released a short video that simply explains the concepts and the importance of the multi-barrier approach adopted in the Manual for the application of Heath Based Targets for Drinking Water Safety.
The Manual, released in 2015, provides a framework for assessing and understanding source water health risks. The importance of managing microbial risk can never be compromised. It not only requires field experts, but a top-down commitment to understanding the risks and informing investment.
