This National Guideline for Managing FFOG from Food Premises (the Guideline) is intended for use by water utilities and councils (water utilities), who have responsibility for managing the discharge of commercial and trade wastewater to sewer. It provides principles, approaches and broad processes for consistent application across the water utilities. Individual water utilities may need to provide context and interpretation to adapt the Guideline to their particular circumstances.

This is the second iteration of the National Guideline for Managing Food, Fats, Oils and Grease (FFOG) from Food Premises This Guideline operates in conjunction with and under WSAA’s Australian Sewage Quality Management Guidelines (ASQM Guidelines).
