A big thank you to Sydney Water for hosting our first Members Meeting of 2024!
It was great to have water leaders from all over the country visit the Sydney Water's Purified Recycled Water Discovery Centre. The Centre is now open to the community and showcases the purified recycled water treatment technology.
Attendees at the members meeting heard insights from the WSAA Customer Perceptions Survey with James Garriock from Insync, as well as engaging case studies and discussion from Lara Olsen, South East Water, Roch Cheroux, Sydney Water, Ray Hezkial, Icon Water, and Kellie King, Wannon Water.
The meeting also covered critical issues like psycho-social risks, relfections from water leaders on current issues and celebrated International Women’s Day with a panel discussion. Thanks to Maree Lang from Greater Western Water for convening a great panel with Anna Jackson from Unitywater, Laura Kendall from Barwon Water, and Lindsey Brown from GHD. It was great to hear these women share their stories and provide insights into how we can accelerate progress for women and girls.
