As water and energy utilities, we recognise the Traditional Owners of the land that our assets are located on, and our responsibility to respect their ongoing connection to the lands, skies, waters, plants and animals.

Our relationship with Traditional Owners is an important element of our ability to deliver projects in successful way. Culturally appropriate engagement with Traditional Owners will occur for a range of purposes, including, access to Country, agreement making (including those related to Native Title), cultural heritage protection, and to foster respect for human rights, dignity and culture of Traditional Owner communities.

Join our WE (water & energy) Lunch + Learn series on Thursday, 19 August 2021 1PM-2:00 PM AEST online with special guest panel:

The panel will discuss different approaches to engagement with Traditional Owners acknowledging the unique aspects of each of these communities and the importance of understanding the values, culture and historical connection that Traditional Owners have with their land.
