For anyone interested in purified recycled water, there is a great opportunity to catch up on global news and events at the US WateReuse Association’s annual conference, on 14-16 September 2020.

The 35th Annual WateReuse Virtual Symposium, Reaching New Heights in Water Reuse, would normally be held in the US but due to the pandemic, this year it’s virtual. That’s good news for Australia/NZ as it saves time, travel cost and jetlag. Registration is $623 USD and provides access to all the presentations, including concurrent sessions. That’s over 100 hours of content, at your convenience – no need to get up during the night (unless you’re a real enthusiast!).

The main focus is using purified water for drinking, plus some other applications. The program is packed with interesting sessions on emotional engagement to places (keynote), public outreach, scientific research, membrane and other technical matters, workforce training, financing, plus local and international case studies. To quote the Association, “Join us for an in-depth look at the technology, policy, and research innovations that have propelled water reuse to new prominence as a water management strategy.” We’ll be (virtually) there!
