This appraisal is for a range of ductile iron polymeric coated backing rings for use with polyethylene (PE) stub flanges.
The sizes included in the scope of this appraisal are DN 80/90, DN 100/125, DN 150/180, DN 200/225, DN 225/250, DN 250/280, DN 300/315, DN 450/450 and DN 600/630.
Backing rings for use with PE stub flanges have traditionally been manufactured from galvanised mild steel or stainless steel. Ductile iron backing rings offer a technically equivalent and competitive alternative.
