This Appraisal is for a range of Vinidex branded Series 1 PE100 plain wall pipes. This Issue 2 is to include products manufactured by Zezt Pty Ltd, previously covered by PA 0801 Issue 5, which has now been withdrawn.
The range includes:
- PE100 pipes in sizes DN 16 to DN 1200 with pressure classifications from PN4 to PN 25, depending on size.
- PE100 high stress crack resistant (HSCR) pipes in sizes DN 16 to DN 1200 with pressure classifications from PN4 to PN25, depending on size.
- PE100 CC2 rated pipes with increased resistance to high chlorine/chloramine disinfectants and high temperatures in sizes DN 25 to DN 63 with pressure classifications of PN16 and PN20, depending on size. These pipes, designated as Chlorblue, are manufactured at the Townsville site only and are marked with a twin blue stripe to differentiate from standard PE100 pipes for drinking water supply.
Pipes are offered in lengths of 6 m, 12 m, or 20 m for all sizes and pressure ratings. Coil lengths from 50m to 200m are available for sizes up to DN 125 depending on PN rating.
Vinidex PE100 and PE100 HSCR pipes are available as black for non-pressure sewerage and black with blue, purple or cream stripes for drinking water, non-drinking water and pressure sewer applications respectively. Chlorblue pipes are available for drinking water only and are coloured black with a twin blue stripe.
