This Appraisal is for a range of Plasson polyethylene (PE) electrofusion and polypropylene (PP) compression joint fittings and pushfit fittings manufactured in accordance with AS/NZS 4129 Fittings for polyethylene (PE) pipes for pressure applications. This Issue 2 is to extend the range of electrofusion fittings and include a range of PP compression joint fittings and pushfit fittings.
The fittings included in the scope of this Appraisal are:
- PE100 electrofusion fittings in sizes from DN 20 to DN 630 (depending on fitting type) with PN16 pressure classification. The fitting range includes couplers, elbows, tees, end caps, adaptors, transition couplings and saddles.
- PP compression joint fittings in sizes DN 20 to DN 110 (depending on fitting type) with PN16 pressure classification. The fittings range includes couplings, elbows, tees, adaptors and mechanical saddles.
- PP pushfit fittings in sizes DN 20 to DN 63 with PN16 pressure classification. The fitting range includes couplers, elbows, tees, end caps and adapters.
