This Appraisal is for a range of Milnes branded PN16 copper alloy mechanical tapping bands.
The tapping bands are for use with Series 1 PVC pipes in sizes from DN 40 to DN 375, Series 2 DIOD pipes including PVC-O, PVC-M, PVC-U, AC and GRP in sizes DN 100 to DN 375 and PE pipes in sizes from DN 63 to DN 400. Tapping outlet sizes include ¾”, 1”, 1¼”, 1½” or 2” BSP.
The Series 1 and PE range incorporates an NBR O-ring seal while the Series 2 range offers the option of an NBR O-ring seal or an EPDM lip seal.
The tapping bands are Type F and incorporate a full circle design with a positive stop.
