This Appraisal is for a range of Fiberstrong filament wound GRP pressure and non-pressure pipes for water supply applications in sizes from DN 80 to DN 3000 with pressure classifications from PN 1 to PN 32 and stiffness ratings from SN2500 to SN20000.
Pipes with SN20000 rating are recommended for deep trench and poor soil applications.
Fiberstrong GRP pipes are supplied in standard lengths of 2.75, 5.8 or 11.8m.
The pipes are manufactured in compliance with AS 3571.2:2009 Plastics piping systems – Glass reinforced thermoplastics (GRP) systems based on unsaturated polyester (UP) resin. Part 2: Pressure and non-pressure water supply (ISO 10639:2004, MOD).
The pipes are designated as Series B, based on the external diameter of the pipe.
