Twinning with utilities in developing countries helps build their capacity to deliver safe and reliable water and wastewater services, protecting public health and the environment. As part of the Global Goals for Local Communities Paper this case study showcases work by Sydney Water to twin with utilities in Papua New Guinea and Fiji, working with them on key issues like environmental regulation and trade waste management.
