This appraisal covers a range of PN16 AVK Supa-Gib couplings including straight barrel couplings, stepped barrel couplings, flanged adaptors and blank end couplings in sizes from DN 80 to DN 675.
The couplings are available with short barrel and long barrel configurations. The end rings and barrels are either thermal bonded polymeric coated ductile iron or Grade 316 stainless steel. Fasteners are either galvanised steel or Grade 316 stainless steel and the seals are manufactured from Nitrile rubber.
The couplings are designed to suit a wide range of pipe OD’s and are suitable for joining spigot ends of pipe manufactured from grey or ductile cast iron, steel, PVC-U, PVC-M, PVC-O and asbestos cement. They are not suitable for joining PE pipes.
