Through our Digital Assets Taskforce, WSAA has been investigating frameworks that could help improve and guide the implementation of digital asset management.
One of the most detailed, step-by-step frameworks is the Victorian Digital Asset Strategy (VDAS). The Taskforce is using this document as the basis for developing a water sector specific digital asset framework over the next six months, in collaboration with the Victorian Intelligent Water Networks group and with input from the Victorian Department of Treasury and Finance, the owner of VDAS.
In the interim, the VDAS is a great start to any utility’s digital asset journey. To assist senior management and other staff understand the value and benefits of using such an approach WSAA has partnered with Vic IWN to develop a short video.
